Forest Tree Nursery Herbicide Studies at the Oklahoma Forest Regeneration Center


Eight herbicides (registered for similar uses in the U.S.) were extensively evaluated at the Forest Regeneration Center, Oklahoma Forestry Division, Washington, Oklahoma, for weed control on first year seedling nursery beds. Phytotoxicity evaluations of dcpa, napropamide, oxyfluorfen, diphenamid, bifenox, oxadiazon, trifluralin and prometryn on 19 different conifer and hardwood species are presented.
