Use of Runoff and Leaching Analysis in Human Health Risk Assessment for USDA Forest Service Nurseries

Residues from pesticides used at the USDA Forest Service nurseries have the potential to leach into ground water or runoff into surface water resources. The GLEAMS model was used to determine the runoff and leaching potential of the pesticides. The results of the GLEAM S analysis were then used to estimate potential impacts to members of the public from drinking water which may contain pesticide residues.
