Longleaf Pine Seed Quality: Can it be Improved?

Long leaf pine (Pinus palustris Mill.) seeds are sensitive to damage during collecting, processing, storing, and treating activities. High quality seeds are essential for successful regeneration of the species by either direct seeding or planting. Keywords: Pinus palustris, southern pines, nursery production, germination, cone and seed production.
