Intraspecific Variation in Growth and Wood Characteristics of Two Slash Pine Varieties Grown in South Florida


Nearly two million acres of south Florida is cut-over pine land. Some of it has been converted to range land, but much of it is still unproductive. These forest lands are capable of producing valuable forest products, but to do so will require large-scale reforestation.
